Nana and Axel at the Exchange Ballroom in Portland
I look so forward to the day of the wedding when I get to meet the bride’s that plan their wedding long distance with me. It brings me SUCH joy to see the look on their face when they see their vision come to life in person, after all the combined work of planning their flowers. Unfortunately, I finished my floral set up at the Exchange before Nana arrived. You see, Nana and Axel live in Washington DC and planned their flowers from afar. Small touches like a custom painted globe with their names adorning it, to the airplane name card holders gave me some insight into their sense of joy, adventure and world travel. I did, however, receive the following feedback from Nana after their wedding: “Rebecca was amazing! I basically sent her one Pinterest picture, my budget, and the size of the wedding and she nailed it. I wanted something really unique and she did not disappoint. Everything was perfect. She was also super organized leading up to the event, providing a detailed estimate with everything she was planning to provide. She is truly an artist.”…This glowing review (almost) makes up for the fact that I didn’t get to meet this jet set couple! Photos by Joys of Life Photography.
