Zooey and Alex’s Corvallis Garden Wedding

Zooey and Alex’s Corvallis Garden Wedding

We just know some weddings are going to be EXTRA fun from the second we step out of our rig to unload the flowers, and Zooey and Alex’s was one of THESE. To the right they were setting up the wine bar with personalized wine bottles and to the left there were a few Trager’s smoking some yummy-smelling smoked meat. Am I making you hungry? Sorry, I digress. For the flowers, it was all purples and lavenders: anemones, roses, stock and dahlias. It’s so stunning when a bride goes with mostly or all one color. It happens so rarely that I forget how much I like it when I get to design that way. My favorite element of this wedding was the Chuppah, the traditional Jewish arch featured at Jewish weddings. I LOVE to decorate them! I also appreciate the spiritual element it lends to a ceremony sacred as marriage. Extra special tidbit: her dad built the chuppah! Photos by Thistledown Portrait Photography
